  Pima Prickly Park

Please Note: There have been several recent stories and listings about the park that have some inaccuracies in them.
We DO NOT have Demonstration Gardens at this time and we DO NOT have a Nursery nor a Gift Shop nor Sell Plants except at special events.

The 7 acre park is open to the Public from dawn to dusk, "free of charge". Dogs ON A LEASH are welcome - Please enjoy!
There are several walking loop paths totaling over one mile. The paths leading to the ramadas are handicap accessible from the parking lot.
For use of the park regarding special activities, please contact Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation at (520) 877-6000.
Their offices are located on the north side of the park.

Rain Gauge Data from our Hoop House area is now available online at the RainLog.org web site. We enter our data into the RainLog site about 3 times a year. Also, see our Infrastructure page for access to all the raw Temperature and rain data.
Click on this link RainLog and then zoom to the park area to see the readings (look for where the Rillito River turns north by Interstate 10).
